Keep an eye on this page. I shall be putting all my examples and a few other bits and bobs on this page. Hopefully, in the future, I shall also put exercises for each topic for you all to practice if you so wish.

Useful Resources
I've just started collecting some useful resources around the web that could help. I expect this list to keep expanding since I haven't really spent very long looking so far! If you know of any interesting places on the web, then please let me know.
General maths
- WWW Interactive Mathematics Server - An excellent site that features many interactive pages for a variety of mathematical topics. Try searching for 'vectors' or 'matrices' and you will find useful stuff for this course.
- BBC Bitesize - This learning site is of a high standard, as you would expect from the BBC. It's aimed at GCSE level, however, there are many useful revision pages for those who need to brush on some of the basic maths, such as algebra. There is also an AS Guru section dedicated to the more advanced AS level maths, which is also worth viewing.
- GCSE Maths Revision - Just to illustrate that the maths isn't that difficult once you put your mind to it, here is a comprehensicve site written by... 11 year old, Adam Spencer!
Matrices
- History of Matrices - This brief history of the evolution of matrices from 4BC to the current day. It helps to put the topic in perspective in terms of its application and why they have become so important in mathematics.
Combinatorics
- Discrete Probability and the Laws of Chance - Some excellent notes written by Leah Keshet who taught maths at the University of British Columbia.
- Probability and Statistics for Engineers - Another Canadian academic, Gilles Cazelais, at the University of Victoria, has some useful notes on various aspects of probability.
- Statistics on the Web - This is a fairly comprehensive list of links to statistics resources on the web.
Propositional Logic
- Propositional Logic Applet - An interesting little Java applet that you can use to do a variety of things with logic, e.g., truth tables are very simple.
